The Lifepo4 Prismatic Cells Battery Advantages:

Most of the Lifepo4 Prismatic Cells, packaged with aluminum alloy and stainless steel, are wound or laminated inside the battery.

In this way, the protective effect on the cells is better than that of soft pack lithium batteries and safer than that of lifepo4 cylindrical batteries.

Lifepo4 Prismatic Cells can be customized according to the size of the product, so there are many different models of Lifepo4 Prismatic Cells

The characteristic differences between prismatic and cylindrical batteries:
1. Battery shape: Prismatic lithium batteries can be any size, while soft pack batteries can be made thinner.
2. Discharge platform: The anode material, cathode material and electrolyte are the same, so theoretically the discharge platform is the same, too.

However, the internal resistance of the prismatic battery is a little stronger, so its discharge platform is slightly higher.
3. Product quality: The technology of cylindrical lithium batteries is so mature that the probability of common secondary slitting defects for pole

pieces is low. The winding process is more mature and automatic than the lamination process, while the latter is still semi-manual, so there is an

adverse impact on the quality of the battery.

4. Tab welding: The tabs of the cylindrical lithium battery are easier to weld than the prismatic lithium battery, and the prismatic battery is prone

to false welding, affecting the quality of the battery.
5. PACK in groups: The cylindrical battery is relatively easier to use, so the PACK solution is simple and the heat dissipation effect is good.

While the problem of heat dissipation should be solved when the prismatic battery is packed.
